When a Melbourne coffee shop opens a 2nd boutique in Paris, just 3 minutes from my place I think that:
1- It’s a sign!!! (it’s no secret I’d like to move to Australia)
2- I can’t wait to give it a try!
3- I found the place for your brunch next week-end, no matter if you’re in Paris or in Melbourne!
Welcome to the Hardware Société, a cute, yummy coffee shops on the hills of Montmartre.
The place is quite big, comparing to other similar places in Paris, and bright, with some nice windows overlooking the roofs of Paris.
Marble tables & colorful butterflies complete the decoration!
They obviously have a very good – & strong – coffee and make yummy lattes, with vegetal milk if you prefer.
Don’t miss the chai latte, which is quite exceptional! 😉
On the food side, all the aussie brunch classics are on the menu: scrambled & poached eggs, granola & goat cheese, red fruits pain perdu, burger…
Prices are not that cheap, but portions are big – Australian size as well! 😉
They also have a wide range of homemade cakes – none of them gluten-free though – although they have gluten-free bread.
Last but not least, as down under, there’s a relaxed & friendly atmosphere.
The only negative point is that they don’t take reservation, so you may wanna arrive early, especially on week-end.
Just be sure on Monday to tell me what you think about it!
